Ideas and inspiration for my second tattoo please?

Hi. I had my first one done (aged 50!) a few weeks back. It’s something that reflects my love of holidays and travel. I’d now like one that will start on the fleshy mound/base of my right thumb, and travel up my wrist a bit.
It should be fairly small, delicate and reflect the fact that I have 3 daughters. Nothing as obvious as hearts or their initials. But something strong and feminine. I thought about the female gender symbol but don’t really fancy it. Some kind of flower would make sense but I’m not a big fan of any one in particular (I don’t even like receiving flowers as a present!). However something relating to nature might be nice. Or a female goddess?
It won’t be done in colour, so that’s another thing to bear in mind.

Could you look up their birth flowers? I have a poppy and gladioli tattoo for my August born daughter.

Maybe a branch with three different types of tree leaves on it, to symbolise your three daughters? Though if it's a small tattoo you'll want something fairly simple, so the details won't blur with time.

Thanks. I think I’ll go with a symbol of some kind, given that I have a palm tree on my other wrist 🙂

Are there other symbols you associate with your children? Animals or tree leaves or a wave or anything that could be incorporated into a line design?

Otherwise there are various ‘motherhood’ symbols, or you could pick a goddess who’s associated with mothers?

Hello. How are you? Yeah, so I am tempted by a second tattoo but life’s busy and it’s just not something I’ve prioritised. Or maybe I’m just not as motivated as I thought I was!

If you’re still looking to get one - Look up mayleaftattoo on instagram, she does beautifully feminine floral and leafy goodness tattoos. I have a huge one going down the full length of my back from her, and she’s pretty good at coming up with ways to personalise them to reflect loved ones etc 😊
