Is it sore getting a tattoo...

I am not afraid of any the pain that may come. I am booked in for a sat-day off from work.

Would I be able to resume activities afterwards? Liking getting tattoo on my arm? Would I be able to continue with my crafting hobbies - knitting/crochet.

I was asked to babysit for the day after on a Sunday? Would I be able to do that or should I decline? The children usually give me a migraine, may I add.

Also I told my hairdresser and he asked me to call into him to show him when I get that done. Do I call into him on the day or wait a week or wait until my next appointment at the end of April. I don't want to walk into him on a colour service.

I can’t say what to do about your hairdresser if you don’t want to risk disturbing him mid colour, but surely he’s only saying pop in and roll your sleeve up-that would be a couple of mins of
‘ohhhh that’s nice, are you please?’
‘Yes, I love it!’
‘Great, see you at your next appointment’
’bye’.

You can carry on normal activities after a tattoo, although avoid swimming pool, sauna or hot tubs etc.

You will be able to do anything you want. I think you may be overthinking this somewhat. It doesn't leave you in constant pain, you will be able to knit, babysit, go out with friends do housework and work!

As for your hairdresser, just show him when you next go in. It would be weird to go in before.

It's like having a patch of sunburn, a bit sore rather than painful. Assuming it's a small tattoo and not a sleeve you'll be fine to carry on as normal. Just keep it clean and dry.

Everyone's experience is Different. Some people really enjoy the process of getting it done, others find it hurts. Avoid getting it wet and follow the after care advice and your be fine. I think the hardest part is staying still if your having a lot of work done but since first tattoo I very much doubt you've gone for a sleeve or complex design.
