First timer. Change dressing tomorrow?

I was high on adrenaline and think he said to change for a new second skin tomorrow after washing and drying but not 100% sure.
I went alone and was very brave and am so happy I did it. Been wanting it for years and now planning next one. Dull throb on my ankle now but I'm also getting a cold so might just be under the weather All tips welcome !

Well done !! It's lovely. My last tattoo was years ago and I'm aware aftercare has changed, but I wouldn't put another dressing on it - let the air get to it now. Remember not to rub it dry after washing - gentle pats

Yes, once the dressing is off let the air dry it. Gentle washing, no picking the scabs, moisturise with a clean gentle lotion/oil.

No dressing.

Loose clothing.

Use unscented soap or just let soapy water run over it.

Don't dry with a towel. Use kitchen roll and pat (I'd just let it air dry).

Thin layer of cocoa butter once a day after three days.

Do not pick or scratch or rub off or pick any dry skin when it starts to look like it's peeling.

No swimming or baths for two weeks.

Don't over wash or moisturise - let the skin do it's thing and heel.

I had a new tattoo recently and all of the above is the advice I got.
