Tattoo design

Hi!

I really want a new tattoo in honour of a family member I have recently lost. I don't know where to start. With my others I have just shown them ideas from the Internet and they have adjusted it for me. This one I want designing from scratch, as I can not find anything online.

How do I go about finding someone who can design it for me? I'm wanting a pidgeon and flat cap, but made quite feminine probably with flowers etc.

And decent tattooist will do this easily. I usually just send a message through their FB page or email.

Be aware many artists won't send you the design in advance of the tattoo day because of the risk you'll simply take it to another, cheaper artist to actually get it done. When this was the case for me he was happy to adjust the design according to my feedback there and then, or I could have gone back another day if I'd wanted.
