Ear buds and conch piercing.

I would love a conch ring, but before going for it, is this going to stop me wearing ear buds forever?

I know I will probably have to avoid them during the healing process (and I expect this to take months not weeks).

I also know I would have to have a flat back in the piercing first and only upgrade when fully healed.

If it's a no forever I will stick to my ear cuff conch ring, but let's face it, it's not the same. 🤣

It was my daith piercings that stopped me wearing earbuds/in ear headphones. I don’t think my conch would make any difference, I had that done after my daiths. I can only wear over the head ones now, so I invested in a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort for trains and planes!

I have got over the head earphones but I like ear buds for being discrete when working in the office or when running (although I only keep one in for that so it would be fine).

I have a conch stud, no problems wearing ear buds. I do have issues with tragus stud in other ear though- cant get earbud to stay in place w

I have no issues wearing earbuds with my conch piercing. My tragus piercing gets in the way though.

Conch doesn't at all affect ear buds for me. Tragus meanwhile...

Tragus is the one that's tricky for me; I have to pull the piercing out to the side and put the ear bud in behind it. Kinda holds it in place though!

I've got conch and tragus piercings in the same ear. No problems with earbuds at all.

Maybe down to individual ear anatomy and placement of the piercings.
