I want to get a thumbprint of mine and my husband put into a heart but a lot of studios say it will look like a blob in a few years anyone has this before x

Why not get fingerprint jewellery instead? Though this is more common when you have lost a loved one.

Yes it will blur over time. The only way to do this and it not blur would be to have it quite large with thicker lines, which would look a bit naff.

If you wanted it small the lines would need to be very thin, and would likely not have much staying power. With very delicate lines people often have to have them touched up over time.

If it's lots of small lines close to each other it is definitely likely to blur and look a bit crap after a couple years.
