Which way up?

Can I ask, if you get a tattoo on your forearm, which way up should it go?

Should the base of the image be nearest your wrist or your elbow??

Right way up is base near wrist, otherwise it'll be upside down when you walk.

I thought it probably was but then because that meant you'd be looking at it upside down, I wondered
