Had line work done Wednesday. Booked to go back next Saturday for shading but I quite like it as it is lol

Have you got the original drawing showing it with the shading as it's hard to say without seeing it. It does look lovely as it is!

That's the original image, they tweaked the flowers a bit x

I like the shading, gives it a nice depth

ineedsun · 27/05/2022 14:11

Looks lovely by the way

Looks lovely, but I would definitely get it shaded. It gives it a nice depth and also over time lines lose their crispness which is what makes it look really cool right now without the shading

OldWivesTale · 27/05/2022 14:25

Wow, it's beautiful. I can't tell the difference between the shaded or unshaded - but I love the one on your leg

gamerchick · 27/05/2022 14:27

I would get the shading. Or you could enjoy it as it is for a bit. Personally I'd get all the healing done in one go, it's a pain in the arse.

Get the shading... looks great now but over time it'll just look unfinished I think. The greys will give it some depth 🙂

TunaSalad · 27/05/2022 14:42

Its a lovely tattoo, the shading will just finish it off nicely!

OldTinHat · 27/05/2022 14:52

Beautiful! But definitely a yes for shading.

Photo when it's finished please!

OwlBasket · 27/05/2022 14:56

Yy get the shading, it’s nice but clearly unfinished now

Looks great, but will be better with shading, more depth as pp's have said

Cherryrainbow · 27/05/2022 15:24

Thanks guys think it's the nerves of waiting for another week lol I'll post pics after the nest session :)

It looks lovely, but agree with PPs that shading would make it just perfect.
I'm halfway through a large goddess tattoo at the moment ( knee to groin): I love it already, but I know it'll be even better when I return for the second full day at the studio!
I'll have had three weeks in between the two sessions.
