Piercer recommendations in London

I need help! I’ve decided I want to get some old ear piercings reopened. I want to get some professional advice in order to avoid infections etc, but have no idea where to go. Being middle aged and straight-laced makes all the local piercing and tattoo places look very intimidating; any recommendations on somewhere that can help and isn’t scary? I’m in North East London.

You're best off going to a professional piercer, they're not scary honest! Try Metalmorphosis or Cold Steel.

I can recommend Metalmorphosis, I went to them to get an old piercing re-done and they were great. They gave me good advice on the type of piercing I needed for the jewellery I wanted.

My original piercing was done in the 90's so don't be put off by any age-related concerns!

Thank you both. I’ll have a look at your recommendations.

I’m not scared about the pain; just of looking a bit old and square!

I love your name @sweatpantsofdefeat! It really resonates at the moment as I’m stuck at home with two self-isolating children; I’ve accepted my fate and reverted to sweat pants, no make up and oldest, comfiest bra.

Thanks @Mrsfrumble . I'm currently sitting here in very true-to-my-username holey leggings with some sort of toothpaste stain on them and I pretty much abandoned make up and wired bras in spring 2020 Grin.

Astrid & Miyu I have also been to and good for piercings and a bit less scary but I'd still say Metamorphosis especially for re-piercings.
