Got my first tattoo yesterday. Just wanted to share as I am in love with it and I wish I had got one years ago! Wondering what else I can get now, do you think tattoos are addictive? Grin

That's lovely OP. Yes they are definitely addictive. I have several and no doubt will have more.

ApocalypseMeow · 14/03/2020 23:31

Thank you amazedmummy, I was surprised how little pain I felt too, I was disappointed it was over so quickly! Was having too much fun chatting to the tattooist and the other guys hanging around watching. Definitely want more!

Very nice, I love the colours.
I've wanted one since I was 17, so for nearly 10 years now. Ive known EXACTLY what I want and where I want it since I first wanted it so I know I won't ever regret it as I've wanted it for 10 years, and my husband can recommend an excellent artist who did his favourite tattoo (he has 5 and the woman he recommends done his favourite one). But I haven't got the guts to actually go and get it done. I've got 8 ear piercings, and I'm not afraid of needles - having injections or blood taken has never bothered me at all.
I wish I had the guts to go.

That's nice. I agree they are addictive.

DeltaAlphaDelta · 14/03/2020 23:36

I love that. I have 12 so far, and plenty more to have done!

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 14/03/2020 23:40

I have 9. Thought they were great at the time, now I hate them all. Luckily most can be easily covered. I love tattoos though, just can't afford to have them all fixed or covered.

amazedmummy · 14/03/2020 23:52

@ApocalypseMeow I love that. I go to a studio in Edinburgh and they're so much fun. My longest was about 5 hours and the time really went in fine.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 14/03/2020 23:59

Can you give the name of the one in Edinburgh? Im looking for a good one at the moment.

amazedmummy · 15/03/2020 00:04

@Iminaglasscaseofemotion it's studio XIII in Edinburgh, they really are lovely.

INeedToGetHealthy · 15/03/2020 00:08

That is a beautiful tattoo. I have had many over the years and I still love getting them.

ApocalypseMeow · 15/03/2020 00:20

@amazedmummy, that's a coincidence, it's studioxiii that I went to. They were lovely, been lots of times with my daughters for piercings and I finally got something for myself! Would definitely recommend them.

@happymummy12345 go for it! I am a older than you, I have wanted a tattoo for ages but never fully decided what I wanted. I finally decided to do some research and come up with some ideas I loved. Didn't see the design the tattooist had come up with until just before I had it done but it was just what I was looking for. On that part of my arm it barely hurt and he made me feel so relaxed I wasn't nervous at all. It helped that I was so excited to be getting it. I can honestly say that I enjoyed the experience!

@ParkheadParadise @DeltaAlphaDelta @INeedToGetHealthy, thank you, I am feeling very happy with it, can't stop looking at my arm Grin

Thanks amazedmummy, I'll have a look just now

happymummy12345 · 15/03/2020 12:55

@ApocalypseMeow thank you. It's so frustrating because I've wanted it for so long. My husband even said he'd pay as a birthday/ wedding anniversary/ Christmas/ Valentine's Day present. Just whenever I was ready.
Might have to look into it again
