Tattoo conventions

Anyone been.I would love to go to one,but i would be afraid they would be 1 big clique.

Personally I would only go to one if there was a tattooist there I had an booking with or wanted to get a walk-up with. Most conventions release the list of tattooists working there well in advance. Some people do go just for a browse and to pick up some merch but it's not my thing. I wouldn't say it's cliquey, you can chat to anyone with a stall (as long as they're not tattooing at the time).

I've been to the London one, I'm a member of the Skin Deep forum, so I just introduced myself. Someone from the forum who lives near came and watched me get a tattoo, she's had stuff done by the same tattooist.
