Piercing pain?

I've booked myself in on Saturday for the helix and nostril piercing that I've wanted for years. I have my lobes pierced three times but this will be the first cartilage piercings.

I have nine tattoos, including my foot and right across my lower back, so i' m used to that sort of pain but I am really nervous about this!

It 's not that bad.

And it's quick.

You'll be fine.

The cartilage hurts more than tattoos but it's over very quick so a different pain and defo bearable, I did double helix and both daith at same time, nose isn't too bad

It's painful but over so quickly that it barely registers!

Have had nostril, daith and double helix done in last year.

Have no tattoos so can't compare. You'll be reet!

Well, it's done! Helix was fine; hardly felt it. Nose was rather nippy but still better than a dental injection. 😁

Now got a tiny sparkly stud in both with the plan of getting hoops once healed. Nose one is pink 😀. Ear is a bit warm and nose feels slightly bruised but no redness at all now less than an hour afterwards though there is a bit of crunchy dried blood inside that I can feel.

Glad it's over though!

Congrats! I woke myself up all the night by rolling onto my helix piercing, but only for the first 3 nights.

It's fast and an experienced piercer will know how to do it quickly.
