Wedding Ring

Just curious as to your thoughts on a wedding ring tattoo. Work means I can't wear jewellery on site, and spare time activities (taekwon-do / hockey) means I'm constantly taking them off when not at work.

Just thinking it would be easier to get it inked on. Have half sleeves on both arms so needle aware.

Would love to see yours if you've gone down this route.

I know someone who did, she really regretted it when the marriage ended.

If you do a lot of work with your hands anyway, then it will probably fade quicker than any other body area tattoo.

Don’t do it. Hand/face tattoos are still more judged than others.

I have a ring tattoo and have never regretted it!

Sorry should of said, not a wedding ring tattoo just a random ring one that I liked.

I have a heart on my wedding finger for the same reasons as you stated. I love it.

DH wanted his tattooed on, but the tattooist refused saying too much of it would wear off in a matter of months and he'd end up with a crappy smudge instead of what he wanted.

Wouldn't that come off very quickly?

I think it is a bit naff. Also what if you end up getting divorced?

Me and DH have them. They haven't worn at all. Don't regret them at all and we both have very respectable jobs!

This is the sort of thing I'm after without the hand and other finger being done. I already have an arm sleeve dedicated to us so it won't be out of place.
