Has anyone managed the parental order process for surrogacy without a solicitor?

Hi there, I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with the legal side of it all - like experience in parental order form / court / doing it on your own instead of instructing a solicitor? Thanks!

Please just don't do it.
Apart from the ethics of putting a woman through the substantial health risks of pregnancy to fulfil someone else's desires, you would be deliberately creating a baby with the intention of removing it from its mother. It's cruel.

I wouldn’t have thought anyone admits to buying a baby op.
