Has anyone managed the parental order process for surrogacy without a solicitor?

Hi there, I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with the legal side of it all - like experience in parental order form / court / doing it on your own instead of instructing a solicitor? Thanks!

Apart from the ethics of putting a woman through the substantial health risks of pregnancy to fulfil someone else's desires, you would be deliberately creating a baby with the intention of removing it from its mother. It's cruel.

There's no right to have a child. Sometimes you just have to accept that your life will be child free, however hard that is.

Surrogacy should be banned in Britain as it already is in many European countries e g. France, Germany, Spain.
