I just wondered if any surrogates on here wanted to share their story?

I'm in the process of becoming a member of an agency to be a surrogate and thought it might be nice to chat to people!

Hi,

Surrogacy is a wonderful thing to do.
I've been a host surrogate, and currently attempting the journey again. I'm doing it for family though, so no agency involved.

Surrogacy UK has a chat group on Facebook for anyone interested in finding out about surrogacy in the UK in an informal way. It’s not just Surrogacy UK surrogates on there, there are indy people too.

It currently isn't legal in the U.K. to advertise for surrogacy and Mumsnet isn't Craig's list so your post will probably be deleted.

Please do your research before setting off down this path -- and not just the sugarcoated, adult-centric, consumer-driven stories of surrogacy. Think about the effects it has on the children involved, and look in to the health risks for you.
