Dog barking in garden 6.45am then for most of the day

Advice please. A house nearby has recently got a dog I think (well we never had this issue before) anyway dog is in the garden a lot barking. It generally is quiet from 9pm but gets let out in the garden at 6.45am. That would be fine if it was for a wee but it stays out in the garden barking. I am not a great sleeper anyway and this is making me stressed so affecting my sleep as I know the dog will be out in the garden early. I can hear it through our double glazed window loudly. What does everyone think about this? I know several of the people in the area the dog is from so don’t want to fall out with them.

Do you know which house? Could you pop round and speak to them about it (or drop a note through the door?)
We had the same issue up the road, turned out the bloke’s home office was at the front of the house so he said he couldn’t hear the dog barking (I went and knocked the door and told him his dog was barking to come in)

I don’t unfortunately just the area, maybe I can send a note to several in the area?

You could do. Round here we have a local Facebook page where people send anonymous posts “to the owner of yappy dog who barks all day in Acacia avenue, some of us are trying to sleep, show some respect”
