Hamster problem

Our hamster keeps squeeking in her sleep, really loud. Just been to check on her and it looks like she's got a hole in her cheek, no blood though. should i take her to the vet or wait a while?

sounds like she has perforated her cheek pouch, which I think is quite common. Does it look infected. A vet would probably give her antibiotics.

She really should see a vet if she has a hole. You wouldn't leave your face with a hole in it?!

thanks for your replies. she seems much better now. wound is scabbed over but she's still moaning, keeps filling her cheeks like mad though so probably ok
