I have said yes to fostering 2 boy piggies from a family friend who is rehoming. I have told the dds it's a trial period. Then I told dp who just agreed to keep them and didn't overthink it. Sigh.

What do I need to know? We already have very delicate rex rabbits so I'm well used to high maintenance floofs.

They are going to live indoors in dd2 room for now and see how we get on. I am so excited for the meeping!

The dds have a pet care chart they have to complete so I guess I will make another one. Dds are 11/14 so pretty helpful.

This is ours as set up just before our new ones arrived.

Oh I love this! Is the black hit a litter tray?

Himmy? Is that the colour? I thought he was a Guinea pig Siamese!

Himalayan are white or ivory coated with red/ruby/pink eyes and points ( nose/ears/paws) in chocolate or black.

Newer breed like a Siamese cat are dark eyed with a buff through to chestnu coat and dark points . (Beautiful) Californian or often called "Calli"

My guinea-pig was a crested ( tiny rossette on her forehead) ivory smooth chocolate point ruby eyed ( supposedly rare but I'm not convinced ) , but she looked like a teeny unicorn Grin

Whattever colours and coats they are amazing .

Ah thanks for checking in. They are lovely and dd2 does most of the work now. I get wheeked at like a little chorus when I go in there though and they watch tv with us quite happily. God they are easier than rabbits!

Dd2 is moving into a bigger bedroom later this year and we will be building a c and c cage then, they seem quite happy.
We have been feeding lots of forage and they seem to love it.
