We have two lovely three year old girls. They’ve always lived outside in an eglu. If is very cold we shut the door to the run at night and they have a thick fleece basket with a hood that they snuggle in when it’s cold so we have have managed to keep them outdoors pretty much permanently. They have a two meter run and seem happy pottering about.
However it’s minus six tomorrow so we have put them in the spare cage in the unheated utility. It’s not a great space for them and I’m wondering do I put them outside in the day? It’s minus 1 at the moment but I don’t want them to loose their hardiness. How should I reacclimatise them to the outdoors again when it warms up next week? Thanks.
