We had two rabbits. One was almost 7 which isn't bad.He seemed to be holding his head back to breathe by the time I was bathed and dressed I found him dead between the plant pots.
His other half went to groom him and I left him th are for her to realise.
They had the run of the garden all day and went on the hutch at night.
I don't know what to do for the other rabbit apart from extra fuss.
How long until she will be her happy self binkying again😢

Sorry to hear you lost a bun :(

The remaining bun will mourn and some do become a bit stressed out finding themselves on their own, especially for outdoor buns. It would be worth her getting a full health check to make sure she's all ok.

A good rabbit rescue can rebond her with another bun - although most rescues won't rehoming to rabbits free ranging in a garden unsupervised, there's too many dangers including escapes, cats, crows, foxes and other humans. Rabbits are also very active at night so benefit from a secure weather, escape and predator proof enclosure to play in 24/7.
