Bearded Dragon Prolapse :(

Both of my BD's hemipenes have prolapsed. He's been to the vet today and booked in for surgery on Friday to remove the dead tissue and stitch his vent to try and prevent it happening again. He's 10 and in pretty good nick for his age so fingers crossed he'll pull through the op. We lost our labrador in March and I don't think the kids could cope with losing another pet 😢

Anyone have experience with similar?

I’m really sorry to here this. We lost a beardie to prolapse about a year ago - the vet said it was caused by internal tumours so I guess she was in quite a bad way. We were devastated as she was such a little character.
Are you on the bearded dragons UK Facebook group? There’s some very knowledgeable people on there who’ll be able to help.
