And they start looking longingly at the grass , asking "Is it time to go out grazing yet?"

I've spent the last few weeks watching the garden, we've had some nice dry days (hurrah) after some dodgy rainstorms and hail

So , I moved the small run up to the top of the lawn , put a cardboard box in, checked the lawn was dry and warm enough (made DD walk about barefoot) Grin

GP7 had a brief 30 minute graze while we did some tidying up.
Enough to scoff some grass and hear all the outdoor noises .
She enjoyed herself , but its early days still.

Piggie is nearly 5yo so she's a bit cossetted .

Mine have been out all day - it’s glorious here! I also gave my teddy-pig a bath because it’s becone clear he is completely unable/unwilling to groom himself Confused

Grin Ahhh are they popcorning?

We had a Rex boar (GP3) then a Teddy Boar (GP6) their fur was amazing. Wash, then bone dry 30 seconds after getting out of water . We had to waft the hairdryer gently over the other pigs, these two were three rubs of the towel and Bingo. Must've been Goretex Coated .

And when you find something hidden in their fur , pull it , and its a stalk of hay 3cm long Grin

Madampig had a few grazing periods during that really warm spell last month but it's too damp at the moment. So I had to get the electric guineapig out to mow the lawn todayShock. She's not speaking to me now!

I need to mend her run really - the roof has disintegrated. The frame is still good so I'll get the toolbox out and see what can be done.

It has been lovely here all week so the girls have been out. Only for about half an hour at a time though as Sadie is now a martyr to her chest!
DH now has his artificial limb and is building up his mobility with it. It has been lovely to see him pottering and Sadie watching him from their run. She has also been spoilt by sitting in the sun cuddles with him. Life is good xxx

Like Madampig they did get out for a couple of days a few weeks ago and Nessa has been impatient ever since😃

Millie had run time for the first time this year. She enjoyed the grass so much She didn’t go into the summer house at all.
