Anyone have a clue as to what breeds these GPs are?!

Hi, they’re brothers...
Try-coloured has curly whiskers and his hair is very soft despite it looking coarse. Maybe related to a sheep?
Black and white one has a crest and was born short-haired... but his hair has just continued to grow.
Any help in identifying them would be welcomed!

They were a month old in this photo.

Ohh they are quite different coat-wise .
Tri colour boy looks to be more Teddy-ish but they have straight whiskers. He does have a Teddy -nose though (I've had a Teddy and a Rex , the Teddy was finer built ) He could have some Swiss if he's soft , they have a 'halo' of guard hairs that Rex/Teddy don't have .

Rex and Teddy have big feet and claws .(and they grow until they're 2yo )

B/W boy could be Peruvian/mix. maybe Sheltie , crested .

Are they from a mixed breed background , you could have all sorts going on there.
They are very very cute though. How old are they now?

Did you get them from a breeder or Rescue or a shop? Were there other pigs in the same litter?

You can do 'designer names' (like they do for dogs) . Our Teddy boy had a couple of crinkly whiskers , DD decided he was a Trex (Teddy/Rex)

Yes, they were from a litter of 6 - they were very tiny and we lost 3 unfortunately as they were under 50g when born. Mum is a Peruvian, Dad is American. The other brother seemed to be an Abyssinian but his coat’s gone mad too.... here they are just born (on 17th Nov). 3 months old now and much bigger!

Teddy/Rex is called ‘Basil’, black and white is ‘Dill’ and the white one is ‘Parsley’.
If Basil continues growing at this rate he’ll be the size of a cat in 2 years!

I have no idea but they are freakin' adorable!!

One of my DD pigs was called Dill (the Rex, lemon agouti) he started as Dylan but got shortened .

Your Dill looks like he's a Peruvian Himalayan. Those ears are getting points and one of his toes is dark. His fur is too wayward to be Abby they are organised with their fur .

As you are on a herb theme , my GP8 (little tri-colour smooth girl , sadly departed in Oct) was called Tarragon.

I used to watch "The Herbs " and I loved Tarragon the Dragon

Basil just needs an eye glass and needs to find his Lady Rosemary!

And sorry to hear about Tarragon. They are such dear beings with big personalities - I’ve never been without a guinea pig.

We've had piggies for about 8 years now, I can't imagine being without them - when they go on their holidays it's so quiet in the house.
