Adopting a pregnant guinea pig tomorrow!

Anything I've forgotten? Not had a pregnant girl for a while, after pet shop mix ups!

This one is being "gotten rid of" as the owner has too many apparently.

I'm driving an hour and a half to collect her - must be mad!

What can we do to make her more settled? Apparently she's quite far along

I'm going out on a limb - 5!

We're all putting bets on birth date and number of babies. I think August 17th, three babies. I get married on the 18th so that could be interesting!

We've just had loads of cuddles with her... It's amazing feeling the babies moving around!

Update: there is no update. She's still pregnant

Guinea pigs are born precocious, so they have all their fur/teeth etc and can run around. And now they're copying mum and can eat solids :)

Can't wait to show my DS(10) as I had told him about this thread and he's been asking if they were born yet. He's going to die of cuteness overload!

Aww that's lovely 0h! It was actually my 10yo DS who found them. He was really excited!

Mum seems to be doing fine. When she first had them she was very protective and was covering them up but she's happy to let me cuddle them now which I can't stop doing

So then when do you want name suggestions??!
