Small pets

It's been a long time since I've had pets. What to do with rabbits/fireworks?

We've recently got a pair of wonderful rescue buns. They have a shed with a hide inside, and a massive outdoor run. The bunnies are really confident around us humans, but easily scared by other things. Cats. Noises. Things I can't even work out- I'll just hear a 'thump thump' whilst I'm pottering in the garden.

I'm nervous about firework season. Do I bring them inside? Leave them outdoors? I'm a bit worried that the bangs might kill them...but they are outdoor rabbits so I don't want to distress them by removing them from their environment. What do other people do?

They’ll probably be fine, but if it’s going to be particularly noisy near you, you could always bring them inside for a few hours on 5th November.

Can you rig up a CD player in there and play music so they can't hear the bangs?

Not sure what music bunnies are into though.

they did seem to like the music in the car on the journey to my house (v chilled in the carrier). Maybe I'll bring them in and have the cd on whilst everyone is doing their garden fireworks (so many people...small town so not much in the way of organised displays).

My piggies have LBC on the radio ( talk not music) so they have someone jabbering on at them .
