Rabbit decision needed asap

Bought 2 male rabbits, neutered them and vaccinated. They are 6 months old now. The one does all the grooming the other never has groomed back which for some reason seems to be the root of the problem we are now having. The groomer has started fighting and biting his friend because he gets so frustrated asking to be licked back. The receiver keeps going back for more grooming but just gets bitten now. So we separated them and tried them together a few times but the fighting got worse. We struggled what to do and eventually took the fighter to pets@home adoption. I'm feeling terribly guilty as it's not his fault. Should I buy a separate hutch and get him back? I'm worried he will be gone and I'll never get him back. Or have I done the right thing? Was thinking of getting a girl bunny for the non groomer but will we be in the same situation?

Haven't a clue what to do!
