No idea where to put this. Managed to save this little thing from my cat. What do i do now?!? It's not bleeding and it doesn't look safe but no idea how to care for it or what to do next! Or where to keep it in the house safe from the cat!

I'm guessing it's a mouse or similar. If so, put it in a darkened box (e.g. plastic storage box) with some food and a small bowl of water and let it recover from the shock. If it appears to be uninjured, let it go once it has recovered from the shock. If not, there may be little you can do - few vets will do anything to animals considered vermin beyond PTS.

However, I'm speculating somewhat from the description, minus a picture!

If it is a mouse of similar, we tend to lock the cats in and then go release it in the woods, where they caught it
