Help.. Need temporary bedding for new rats!

I bought two little baby rats (12 weeks old) today and forgot to buy some fluffy bedding. Is there anything I can use tonight? I don't want them to be cold.

They have a hammock that they haven't used yet and are sleeping in a little log thing that I bought.

It has been over 5 years since I owned any rats but you'd think I'd remember to buy bedding.

They are called Flash and Batman and are both female! (poor babies)

Were they happy with the kitchen roll? Show us a photo, I love cute baby rats

Ours spent some of their early weeks sleeping in a pair of DP's old pants Grin

Old t shirts or fleece work well. I love rats.

For fun, I recommend getting a roll of cheap loo roll or kitchen towel and placing it horizontally on top of the cage with a piece poking through the cage Grin that'll be some good bedding once they get started!
