Anyone looking to adopt a Rabbit?

Hi all,

Not a very conventional one for mumsnet but I see how many of you love your pets and that's all I really need.

Recently we adopted a male rabbit called George, he is 8 months old and possibly the sweetest rabbit I have ever owned. Unfortunately due to circumstances changing I need to find him a new home.

He loves playing, napping, eating and sitting on your lap for a cuddle. He has an amazing personality and it very intelligent, you'll often find him standing behind you trying to see what you're looking at. A lot of my friends have said he reminds them more of a dog or a cat in the way that he comes to you for attention and loves a good rest on the back of the sofa.

He comes with a new 100 cage, a tunnel to play in, a pop up tent for playing, a rabbit play pen for when you want him to play in one area, two water bottles, two bowls, a pack of food and hay. Also a brush for his fur and wooden sticks that he likes to chew. He also comes with a carry case that I have used to take him to the vet with.

George is ideally looking for a home with in and outdoor space so that he can still feel connected to his owners and loved, but so he can also play outside in the grass. George is very clean and only goes to the bathroom in his cage mainly in the corners where the hay is. He is currently not neutered as he has just had his vaccinations so he has to wait two weeks until this can happen, but I would get him neutered before her went to a new home to stop unwanted babies.
If you have a neutered female rabbit, George would make a great companion for her. George loves people but like all rabbits needs careful handling and to feel loved.

I hate that I have to give him up but I know that because he is such a lovely rabbit that he will find his forever home very soon.

George and all of his belongings are completely free all I want is for someone to love and look after him.

Please comment on this thread if you'd like to know more about George.

Thank you

Where abouts are you? You probably are too far away from me but I thought I'd ask. I hate not having a rabbit in my life.

I love the idea of George, but sure that you live too far away from me. Our beloved (but bad tempered) female rabbit has been lost ... we are so sad (even thought she scratches and stamps her feet at us).

Are you still looking to rehome George? Am in the Midlands. Can you tell me how big the cage is? We have other small furries but no rabbits.
