Just got back from a few days away. First morning I got homesick at my full 'English' breakfast (it should have been described as Scottish, the tattie scones were lovely). A real beast of a tomato was served up and I thought, wouldn't the girls love that.

DD 1 & 2 let me face time the guinea pigs Grin (yes really) DD2's phone my end, DD1 held her phone in the hutch and I was able to talk to my piggies. They knew my voice and came running out their bedroom and sniffed the phone.

This morning they have come out to see me but have been judgey that I only had the last of the celery DD1 has been giving them. They obviously expected me to go and pick grass. Sigh.

Haha that is really cute!

That's lovely. If I'm away, my boys are really moody with me and won't talk to me for ages afterwards.

Grin

I scooped up strawberries and watermelon left over after a Staff Meeting for my guineas (they were very pleased)

Guineas do make you feel guilrt for leaving them though (it's those EYES ). DH looked after and cleaned our pigs when DD and I were away.

I bought Scotch Rolls for DD in Glasgow (for her fried eggs roll) Grin
