Hey, I know I have bored you all to death with constant questions but my next is.....
Has anyone fostered rabbits. Our local centre offers that as an option and I feel we would be good at this (I hope) with guidance.
DD seems good with the idea and we want to go ahead and see if it works out well. It still leaves us the option to get a pair of rabbits if we wish, or to not be rabbit owners in the long run.
We met four lovely rabbits today and it was all very nice and good, we know it will be hard work but I feel so much better knowing it would not necessarily be permanent. But I am not under any illusions, rabbits could be fostered for 2 weeks or 2 years so it is all quite uncertain. We may get a kitten or cat as a family pet as well to give the kids permanency.
Our son is adopted and when we met his foster family I felt I would love to foster as they did such a great job of looking after him. However, I could never foster children, it really would be not my skill set (although never say never!) but rabbits I think I could!
Anyone done it and got any advice, please?
