noticed she was holding her left ear down and scratching at it, have looked in the ear and can't see any thing obvious, a little bit of redness by the entrance but that may be from the scratching. guessing it's either ear mites or an infection.

See how she goes over the weekend and if she's still really scratching at one patch I'd take her to the vet.

keep a close watch, KingJoffreys house rabbit had trouble with her ear and ended up minus the ear itself but still here to tell the tale.

Could be a piece of hay stuck there?
Get a good light and have a thorough search (wrap her in a towel if need be)

Does the ear smell?
Is it warm, swollen or anything leaking or oozing ?

had a good look with a torch, couldn't see anything so bathed the ear with a damp cloth and it seemed to stop bothering her so thing it must have been something stuck to the ear. Keeping a close eye on her and if it recurs will take her to the vets

That's good news. My previous bun would frantically clean her left ear several times a day. There was nothing wrong with it - it was just her way. To our knowledge, she never cleaned her right ear!

I'm very wary of anything that involves head shaking as a previous bun died of e. Cunculli which first showed as a head tilt and head shaking
