Have just notice horrid wound on guineas side looks like other guinea has got him

It looks quite nasty like other guineapig has got him
Have washed wound with salt water and applied sudocrem
Was going to keep and eye on it this week then go to vets if needed
He has only just had mean eye which needed treatment

I would watch their behavior when they are together and any sign of fighting then split them up

I would take him straight away to the vets. One of our guinea pigs died very suddenly, they had been looked after by friends, and there was a wound on his body which they hadn't noticed. We assume he died from the wound becoming infected.

When my two boars had a scrap (it was GP2 that started it, surprisingly, as he was a gentle little soul) he got his jaws right onto GP1 back (behind the shoulder blades) he meant business
Luckily, no skin broken.

Ours had binged on coriander (now banned)
Have they been scoffing herbs? ('tis Cavy Cocaine in overdose)

Bought new run and hutch
Guineas now seperate
