I have no idea. We have had him and his brother (white crested) for a year and I've just never thought much beyond 'he's a longhaired guinea pig' but would like to know. And I've googled but I'm just not sure. I can provide more pics if necessary!

Please, can someone tell me the breed of my GP?

Hmmm I go for Sheltie.

( don't think Peruvian, they don't have a quiff
Lunkarya (sp) are crimped looking Grin

Or could be coronet ( though some names are Confused . In the USA , Teddy/Rex seem interchangeable but they're different - my Rex is apoplectic with rage at being confused )

Does he have a washing label sewn to his leg?
No, mine neither Grin (It would read "Do not wash" )

And yes to more pictures - to coo over mainly.

Peruvians have quiffs? Wow. The idea of washing him is pretty terrifying, he acts like cutting his nails is torture Hmm

Your piggie has got a little tuft of hair (I won't say combover Grin ) like a rockabilly quiff .

I had my Peruvian many years ago, her hair was more like the curtain style but she had a sweet little face under all the fur.

I love your pigs colouring the pale cream and the Baileys Irish Cream face
