I have no idea. We have had him and his brother (white crested) for a year and I've just never thought much beyond 'he's a longhaired guinea pig' but would like to know. And I've googled but I'm just not sure. I can provide more pics if necessary!

Or could be coronet ( though some names are . In the USA , Teddy/Rex seem interchangeable but they're different - my Rex is apoplectic with rage at being confused )

I had my Peruvian many years ago, her hair was more like the curtain style but she had a sweet little face under all the fur.
