I need a new hutch and run for my bunnies

Because the little beggars have gnawed away one of the supporting joists.

I need something inexpensive but suitable for a pair of rabbits (largest is around 4kgs and a big dopey dollop) that will be safe for them to stay in during the day and be relatively dig proof - they have previous for tunnelling out of runs and I don't trust them to be loose in the garden unsupervised while we go to work.

We have a large garden but don't want it to become, essentially, a rabbit toilet and dinner plate either

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You could try asking at local animal rescue for ideas - and also try freecyle and/or gumtree for used second hand runs/hutches, often people are only too happy to get rid of unused stuff. We often found old hutches in reasonable condition at the local tip as well, and palmed them on to local village rescue. Hope you find something suitable. :)

I would suggest welfare hutches, but they are not currently taking any new orders. Boyles Pet Housing are excellent, but not cheap and Moore Space for Pets have a good reputation too. Also try uk rabbit hutches and happy hutch. If you search for Sykes combo on eBay, it's pretty good value.

Moore space for pets are fab, but he always seems so busy. I think I'm going to ask him to build me a run, when mine gives up (will be soon), as I'm impressed by his pics on Facebook
