How much fluff?

We are in the midst of a serious moult so I have today resorted to putting Current Bun on his lead (always tricky) and taking him outside for a thorough brushing. I cannot believe how much fluff came off him . Nearly half a bunny! The birds have been going mad collecting his fluff for nests - their chicks should be lovely and snug this Spring.

He's been back inside not quite 2 hours and my carpet has another fluffy black patch already

There's a cat/dog groomer called The Furminator , not sure if you could use it on rabbits but their skin would be as sensitive as a cats so you might be ok,

You need to get rid of all those cream Axminster carpets and those Liz Hurley white jeans and white cashmere sweaters that you waft about in.....

Did I ever tell you that guinea-pigs are superior to rabbits.....

Have you been spying on me? How did you know I waft around in white cashmere?

I'm considering becoming a goth, then everything can be black so it blends in with the bunny.

GPs shed just as much only theirs is hairy and doesn't seem to cling as much as fur. They are still not superior to buns even though they are far better at giving judgey looks.

I have looked at a Furminator but am worried I might accidentally 'bald' him . Also he is not good at keeping still - yesterday's brushing required 6 biscuits

I had my hair cut on Monday. The hairdresser comes to my home. Inspired by Current Bun, I put the cuttings out for the birds.

There was me thinking the birds would appreciate it as they take the guinea pigs hay. But no, not touched at all.

Maybe you have more puritanical birds who will only use traditional nesting materials like twigs and hay. The birds in our garden aren't fussed and will happily munch on leftover GP nuggets and make bunny fluff nests.
