A Happy New Year to all the Super Furry Animals out there...

2013 has been an eventful year.
Sad , because there have been many tiny mammals pitter-pattering across The Rainbow Bridge.

Happy, because many of us have welcomed new furry friends into our homes.

We lost our little boar in July, leaving his brother behind.
The guinea-pig shaped hole was filled (and now over-filled Grin ) by the arrival of our new (now huge) piglet.

So tonight, our older boar and his teenage 'stepson' are happily munching veg before the fireworks kick off, safely in the small bedroom.

So, Happy New Year to all. Smile

2013 has been the year of the pig in this house. DS arrived home with a pair of boars in July and I've been converted. They are wonderful.

Parsley and wheeeps all round. Happy New Year indeed.

Happy new year from me and my two furry boys!
Love them to bits. Gizzy was the best boar ever when dd was upset earlier!

Gileswithachainsaw · 31/12/2013 21:21

Happy new year from giles and my two naughty but beautiful bunnies .

I hope no one is scared of the fireworks

Happy new year from our 3 guinea pigs, 2 hamsters and 1 rabbit! ( we have a cat as well but she feels she's above our sfa's )
All 3 GP's and 1 hamster arrived in our house in 2013.

Almost five year old piggy has had a wander about and is now munching hay in his bed. He doesn't like too much fuss any more. Gave me a bit of a scare over Christmas but seems happy enough now. Bunny is lying stretched out beside DD on floor watching tv and getting his ears rubbed. He is the best wee man ever. Loves a fuss made of him. If only he would stop spraying wee at night!!! Neutering helped a bit but not completely stopped. Happy new year!

Hello everyone and sorry I haven't been around very much. I hope everyone is keeping well and looking forward to a happy and squeaky 2014.

I remember some time ago there was a request for a piggie calendar. Well, I've picked out some images for each month, so feel free to save these and create your own calendar (with the blessings of my pigs!)

Happy New Year one and all! :)

Happy New Year everyone (human and fluffy). May all GPs have a year filled with parsley, may all bunnies have lots of space to binkey and lots of ear rubs and may all smaller furries have lots of treats and fun (without escaping)!

Current Bun has spent the evening doing mad runs round the Christmas Tree and Scruffy and Smooth have been tucked up with lots of celery leaves. They all send fluffy cuddles to the other SFA's. Grin

KRITIQ

Can you do a calendar with bunnies on ?

My five bunnies would love to see it. I have a lovely cuddle with each of them in the last two days, it makes up for all this wet and windy weather. I can take a photo of them on my digital camera but I can't even print them out.

Happy new year!

I'm hoping 2014 will be the year I move house (yay!). But even more importantly, the year we have space for new piggies. I've had a 3yr break after 30yrs of piggies and miss having them.

fortifiedwithtea · 02/01/2014 13:11

KRITIQ February is so cute and your piggy's expression for October is priceless. He really got into character 'woo scary toy love it.

Wishing everyone and their SFA a happy and healthy New Year Smile

Happy new year! We have our first guinea pigs, boars, and I am so excited. Our three rat girls shuffled off the mortal coil, all of old age and within a few weeks of each other. They lived ages past what they were expected to, but to be expected. One went out in truly dramatic style, having died whilst attempting to escape, poor mite.

I think I'm being PFB but about the guinea pigs. And so is DS1. Yesterday, he turned to me and said 'wow, the GPs are really advanced for guinea pigs, aren't they?' (These guinea pigs haven't yet figured out how to use a ramp, so hardly advanced...) Blush Smile

Skrifa I brought the hogs in for their evening cuddle before bedtime.
I was out with scissors in a Force 9 gale (ok slight fib ) cutting grass for them.

That's how clever these critters are.

DH: "Can you go to the garage and get me some beer"?
Me : "Do one"

Boars: "Wheek"
Me: "Oh, Mummy get you nice grass? Yes baby wabeys" Blush

Happy new year everyone!

2013 saw our beautiful girls savaged by bastard foxes but we have our new girls to mend our broken hearts... Just quicker then we thought thanks to BIL!

Thank you all for your kind words on my thread when I discovered that salt and pepper were gone :(
