One of the things I remember about my GPs I had as a child was they were noisy.
If they were outside, they'd squeak.
Inside if they heard anything suspiciously like chopping or rustling, they were off!
GP1 only squeals (not a squeak more an angry Bugger off ) when he's lifted up.
Then he stopped when GP2 died but he's found his voice again.
GP2 never squeaked. He was noisy in the night cage. He threw his plates about and tipped them up to rattle of the bars.
GP3 never shuts up
. When we cuddle him, he constantly prattles on (it's quite nice really).
If he's in the run and I rustle a bag he runs round wheeking like mad.
I don't know how GP1 copes. It's like living with Marcel Marceau then the Horrible Histories Shouty Man.
I've told DD that when they are in for winter to listen out. GP3 just might be a Singer
