Can Current Bun have some sympathy - he's sulking in a corner!

Due to an exceedingly heavy downpour this morning, my conservatory has flooded. I've spend the morning so far cleaning, mopping, wiping etc (all great fun, I'm sure you'll agree). It does, however, mean that Current Bun is not allowed into the conservatory which is his normal daytime stomping ground as I don't want him to spend the day with cold wet paws (and he hasn't had swimming lessons). I've moved all his stuff into the kitchen with extra mats for him to leap about on but he's not happy and is sulking in a corner under a shelf.

Poor Current Bun, he doesn't understand you have his best interests at heart.

Cue Bambi film where Thumper slides across the icy pond and ask him is that what you want? 'cos that's what a wet conservatory floor is like.

Can rabbits swim Fernie? there is only one way to find out? Poor current bun needs lots of tlc now his room has been replaced by a swimming pool. Perhaps a new olympic event is in the making?!?

Thanks for your messages of support Grin. I've now put the pigs in their playpen in the kitchen with him so he doesn't feel he's the only one being 'punished' - daren't tell him that the pigs love it Wink

How can water make such a mess? Luckily it's all easily cleaned and the sub is out now so should all be dry soon and then Current Bun can move back.

Aaaaaaww poor Current Bun.
How maddening for him to see how easily pleased the Guineas are (because they are IHO quite simple souls )

Maybe the hogs were waiting inside to see the Royal Baby Coverage and wave their bunting.
I might have the GPs Jubilee hats somewhere (bargain pack from Tesco- hats, blower thingies, bunting Crown ) .
I'll need to dig it out for the Limit Boars.

Did he laugh appreciate all your hard work swabbing up rain?
Bet he didn't.

He's back in his usual quarters but still not speaking to me. Even 3 bedtime biscuits haven't worked. Hmm

The hogs did see all the Royal Baby stuff and Scruffy did excited squeaking when they appeared. That could have due to the arrival of parsley at the same time though Grin
