Stressed hamster?

We brought a Syrian hamster yesterday and I thought he'd settled in well until I saw some fur missing on him and what looked like blood. It was a small amount but I'm worried. what can I do?

Check his house for any sharp bits he might have caught himself is he coming out and eating and drinking ??

He's eating and drinking and he came out to play with his other toys that aren't in his cage
