Hamster help please

DD has a lovely hamster about 1 year 4 months old. Before Xmas we noticed her tail was wet and took her to the vet who was not too concerned as no other symptoms but gave antibiotics. Hamster still has a wet tail area but no other problems like runny poo. She does seem a bit wobbly when she is up during the day but perhaps just sleepy. She seems to breathe heavily sometimes too.

Do you think I should go back to vet?

Thanks!

If you are worried take her back to the vet, but I'm not sure there's a lot they can do. Hope she's better soon.

Hi - thanks weegiemum. I took her back and the vet thinks she has an infection so we have two weeks of antibiotics. Hopefully they will do the trick although she doesn't seem to be eating much now.

Have put some treats in to try and tempt her.
