I know what you mean.
My DD makes me go to P@H on odd occasions and I am gutted to see the pigs and the adoption pigs.

There's a Petshop that has had 2 boars for weeks. Who will buy them
And GumTree/ Preloved Angry

My ultimate nightmare would be someone dumping a box of guineas on my doorstep. My 2 boars would not appreciate interlopers. And I know that rescues are full to bursting.

My GP2 is on my lap. He's done about 12 poohs. Just keeps lifting his rump and slipping them out Hmm

I was in P@H a while ago and there was 1 lonely pig in the adoption section. There was no name/info about it and I was so close to asking if it was male or female but stopped myself as I knew if it was female I'd have taken her to live with my 2. Hated leaving her there but when we planned to get ds a pet dh suggested a hamster that would live in his bedroom. Instead we have 2 piggies that have free run of the living most evenings! Didn't think he'd appreciate a 3rd coming along

That so angers me curly!! they are a fucking pet shop! Yet they are housing a piggie on his/her own!! They should know better! Excuse the language but it really winds me up Angry

We were in P@H a while back and there was a boar in the boar tank, one the same size and colour in the Adoption cage; and 2 small boars in the adjacent pen.

My DD was Angry and was ready to storm over to the desk and complain about the boars being seperated.
I suggested maybe they were fighting (they looked older/bigger than their usual babies). Or the one in the run had been used for one of their demonstrations ?
The Adoption boar had "Got too big to sell" on his cage so it doesn't look like they were returned hogs.
(My DDs boars sometimes scrap so so sort of accepted this)

I know how you feel. After OB passed away I just happened Hmm to go to the RSPCA adoption site where there was this lovely 3 year neutered dutch boar. So lovely that a couple of days later he had gone. I hope he has gone to a nice forever home.
