Got woken up last night at 4am.
Heard a squeak/chirp type noise. Thought "Wtf is that?!?" .
Firstly i thought it was Hammy in his wheel because it was a regular 'chirp' pause 'chirp' pause.... quite fast ,but then i figured out it was coming from the living room.
It was LittlePig. He was stood on one side of the cage. As soon as I turned the lights on it stopped and he scampered under the hay .
Now, do i worry? I was worried last night. If anyone walks into a room - day or night - the he is up to the bars, feet as high as he can get them looking expectantly for food
or squeaking his head off. It is not like him to run away, I tried to coax him out to check he was ok and he wasn't having it. Managed to grab him in the end, and apart from being pissy, hes fine!
Iv'e never heard that noise before, was it a warning noise? Can they sense if something is wrong? It didn't sound like a happy sound but it was a chirp

Does anyone understand what I am babbleing about?
