My first GP (I was 9yo). We went on a caravan holiday and GP was sleeping in my sleeping bag.
One night I had a nightmare about water rats. When Cheeky (the GP) scurried up to see me, I sorted of pushed him back.
Next morning he waited until I was fully awake Blush.

DD asks "Tell me the story about when you punched your GP?"

"I didn't punch him Shock I thought he was a rat. I pushed him"

Luckily he wasn't injured.Or even put out. He was luffley. He was a tri-colour agouti, ginger and white.

Ds threw DHammy across the room when she was in his exercise ball Shock .

Poor hammy nearly had a heart attack! She was fine and lived for another year very happily.

I've already said about OB's mishaps on another post but this is what makes me feel guilty.

OB and his dear departed brother's birthday is 15th December, so its a cold time of year. At the time of their first birthday DD1 was 9. I gave DD their evening veg. It was a special big portion with all their favourite treats because it was their first very special day. Off she trotted to the garage where they lived no car and gave them lots of cuddles.

Next day I went to see them and all their veg was sitting on top the hutch! She had loved them but forgot to feed them Shock. Not only were they hunger, but they had spent all night smelling their food. Poor little buggars! The next year we made up for it Grin.

I am not allowed small furry animals, sniff. They die when I look at them. My ex DP and I once looked after his friend's hamster when his friend went on holiday. It died on our watch for no apparent reason. His friend was sad....but a good friend. He bought another one. The next year when he went ski-ing we were keen to make amends. We took in his hamster.

It died. For no apparent reason. Sad
