What do I do? It is obviously tender and I will obviously take her to the vet asap (think they are open until 12 tomorrow) but does anyone know what it is and what I could do for her just now?

Or should I leave it alone for now?

Poor bunny Sad

i would leave it alone for the time being. maybe an ear infection or something?

Carrotsandcelery · 30/04/2011 21:16

I have been googling and it looks like it is ear mites. Does anyone know how to treat this? I will keep googling but I haven't found anything useful so far. Sad

the vet will give you a treatment for it. really, just make sure bun is comfy tonight and get her to the vet tomorrow

Thanks thisisyesterday - I will phone the vet in the morning.

From what I have read she/he will give her eardrops and she will be alright.

I can't get over how bad it looks in such a short space of time.

My poor bunny has been to the vet and had her ear filled with a disinfectant for ears Hmm and has to go back tomorrow to be sedated so that they can fully clean out the ear and treat it for mites.

The last time we had a rabbit sedated at the vets it died Sad

I am now terrified.
