Rabbit hutch that is easier to clean?

We have four rabbits - two pairs.

One pair are very civilised and build a beautiful nest in their hutch and do their poo outside in a corner of the run in a pile. When we clean out their hutch it is lovely and clean and dry and I feel quite guilty removing their nest tbh. We scoop the poo in the run virtually daily with an old dustpan and put it on the composter. No problem.

The other pair however, keep their run beautifully clean and fill their hutch with wee and poo.

The style of hutch that we have makes it very difficult to clean this out thoroughly without getting covered ourselves.

Can anyone recommend a simple hutch that sits directly on the ground and is very easy to clean out?

I really wouldn't recommend a hutch that sits directly on the floor, it'll be cold, drafty and damp for the rabbits, and will be at eye level for any cats or foxes that happen to wander past.

I've heard good things about the eglus or whatever they're called. Look here for more about them.

I can see the eglu one is actually directly on the floor, so it's pretty much what you're after!

Otherwise you can try and make your own?
