Hi, just looking for reassurance that this is normal really Smile. We have 2 Russian Dwarf and they are gorgeous, they play on the floor and when they want to be picked up they walk along on their hind legs (like a meerkat)

We have never had hamsters before and they are a perfect addition to our family.

Wow I haven't heard of this but I think they may just be happy and excited and have learned a different way of walking. They are so small that it's probably easy for them to get on the back legs and walk.

One of my rats used to get up on his hind legs when he wanted to get onto my boobies and then onto my shoulder :p
