Dont drag your hutch accross the lawn but do get them protected.

I just did this in an attempt to relocate in the playhouse as they looked v miserable and despite being free rang they are huddled in the hutch, anyway i struggled to get it in but managed then realised half of it was missing then the front cage bit fell off arghhhhhhh so the whole thing was inabout 5 pieces all over the lawn and the piggies were hanging on unbeknown in there little igloo. Have now hammered it all back together and am covered in pig shit. They are repositioned now and look well cosy. So let this be a lesson get someone to help you and please go warm your piggies up with some protector as its going to get really chilly.

Good idea we have an old duvet. I have a hessian sack im throwing over them over night to stop drafts in the meshy front bit. They are now in the playhouse i will close up at night and let them free range in and out through the day if its dry - hmm wonder if i need to add a duvet too.
