We had to put down one of our rats today (2 years old, had a stroke)

And just wanted somewhere to commemorate the wonderful creatures who are with us oh so briefly.

So to Lucy, Zemo, Hugo, Ralph, Orien and Mercury. We miss you greatly. I wish your lives had been longer, 2-3 years was never enough. I hope they were enjoyable.

So sorry. I love pet rats - had lots as a teenager and would have more like a shot if DH wasn't so squeamish. They have such gorgeous little characters - great creatures. I'm sure yours were very happy.

Poor you!

One of our rats passed away (old age, he was 3 years) a couple of weeks ago and the same day I found out I was pregnant. DP is convinced the new baby is our little cooper reincarnated.
