Gambling addict

A close friend has said they are a gambling addict. Does anyone have any experiences good bad the ugly of how this can pan out? They say they want help

I have a friend who was a gambling addict. He lost £10,000 one night and decided to stop. He signed up for something that bans you from all the online gambling sites and doesn’t go into casinos anymore. He’s happy and Ok.

Get them to contact the National Gambling Helpline for support and possible treatment. Can call or live chat - gamcare.org.uk. You can contact them for advice too, they support gamblers and their loved ones/friends.

That sounds positive. I’ve read so many awful stories that I wasn’t sure if it was possible to get out of
